There is really not that much about me that is very interesting. My name is Jason, as if you didn't figure that out with the blog title. I lived in Michigan for the first 32 years of my life before moving to North Carolina in 2008 for work. I married my wife, Margaret, in October of 1996. And together we have, as successfully as possible, raised three daughters.
I am a sports fanatic; die-hard Detroit Lions and Tigers fan, New England Patriots, Atlanta Braves, Detroit Pistons, Pittsburgh Penguins, Colorado Avalanche fan. I also officiate baseball, football, and basketball here in Western North Carolina.
I like to read and learn a lot. There are times that someone will catch me actually reading a textbook of some sort. But, mostly, I like to read for fun. My favorite author of all time is John Grisham. Another favorite author is Dean Koontz. And, I have begun to take a liking to indie authors. I liken them to local mom-and-pop shops just trying to make a meager living. Some are good and some are bad, but at least they are trying.
